Is Dying Right For You is a 126 page book printed on fine papers and bound by hand. Each page was written by hand. Accompanying the book are five 3’ x 5’ needlefelted tapestries depicting landscapes. The book is a stream of consciousness exploration of a fictional theology where the afterlife is based on how the physical body decomposes. The maps depict stylized versions of a selection of afterlives (life, rot, cremation, frozen, and consumption). The work exists in opposition to morality-based afterlives and as a way of cultivating a positive hands-on relationship to death.
